Hey everyone, just a quick update:
Normally the Patreon Prints go out ar the start of the month but because of the recent cyber attack on the Royal Mail, there will be a delay before I can get them out this time. I’m hoping it won’t be long but I don’t know for sure.
I wanted to make sure people were aware of this before they are charged, sorry for any inconvenience.

I glossed over this guy and his porcupine-like appearance earlier because he actually does get a line in this episode:

The lip-sync is off but he says "She wants ya, Homer!" in a voice that is unlike the Lenny/Carl voices established in this scene, so I'm saying this guy gets a line, and is fore...

It's a tale as old as time: animators are extremely horny. It's clear that some people enjoy drawing scenes like this (and more power to them!):

Shauna is one of those characters caught right in the midpoint of prominence and obscurity. I think most Simpsons fans would recognise her, and even be...

A couple of the designs from this scene stood out to me:

This salty sailor takes the family's order at The Rusty Barnacle.

He's the latest in a long line of characters designed entirely for Bart, the mischievous scamp, to bounce off of. Our second this episode, after the Femail Carrier. His sarcastic attitude probably would not be tolerated too well i...

The Rusty Barnacle - a venue accommodating family outings and raucous bachelor parties - was actually teased last episode:

But it is not until this episode that it actually makes an appearance. This was the equivalent of a Marvel post credits tease back in 1990. Viewers who watched Life On The Fa...

It seems like it should have been illegal that Lenny and Carl are so far apart in their appearances, but it is what it is. Carl appears at this stag party, with the "wrong" voice.

For the most part, I would say Carl's definition within the show is similar to Lenny's, he is often used as an every...

As discussed last week, Eugene's father is actually more of a significant character than Eugene himself, as this is Eugene's only appearance.
We learn through the early events of "Homer's Night Out" that Eugene quickly goes from being Homer's assistant to becoming his supervisor. At first I thought this was an inconsistency, as we had previously seen Homer's supervisor was 2023-01-09 09:00:01 +0000 UTC

The Kingpin himself! Arch nemesis of both Spider-man and Dared- wait. Wrong guy.

I feel like if this sappy heartfelt speech had been delivered within the show a couple of seasons later, it would have been more of a joke. Here, the joke is that the other stag-do attendees are bored by this genuin...

Is this kid a real kid within the Simpsons universe? Or is he a drawing within a drawing, existing only as an image on a comic book page? If so, he's far from the first fictional character we've encountered, but his wacky eyes and teeth stuck out to me, so here he is.
I did some research into wh...

Happy New Year folks! New year, new print designs for you to choose from!
In case you're new here, this is how it works: vote for your favourite design in the poll below and the winner will be made into an A5 print for the January Patron Print! Second place will be February's print, and *maybe* third place will be March's print, I haven't decided yet.

We made it! Now, the first thing you'll notice is this batch of characters is heavily skewed towards the Singing Sirloin waiters, which I am glad I condensed into one week. They make up 69.6% of the characters introduced in this episode. Apart from that, the MVP is OBVIOUSLY my boy Lenny (I will NOT be entertaining any arguments on this matter.)
The NCHC of this episode is a measly 8.7%, ...

I love when the show does this! This fantasy sequence is a visual departure from the rest of the episode, and it's a delight:

A familiar character enters the episode with a lizard-like appearance:

I'm torn. This guy is a scumbag, trying to steal Marge away, but he's our second Albert Brookes voiced character, which means he is kind of a delight. The probably-improvised naturalistic dialogue between him and Marge is etched into my brain, especially during the explanation of brunch.

In what I can only assume was a blaze of drunken hubris I have determined that each and every waiter that appears as part of a quarter in the Singing Sirloin counts as a distinct and separate character worthy of inclusion in our silly little project.
