0182 - Eugene Fisk
Added 2023-01-09 09:00:01 +0000 UTCAs discussed last week, Eugene's father is actually more of a significant character than Eugene himself, as this is Eugene's only appearance.
We learn through the early events of "Homer's Night Out" that Eugene quickly goes from being Homer's assistant to becoming his supervisor. At first I thought this was an inconsistency, as we had previously seen Homer's supervisor was Barry Mackleberry, but of course, that was in Homer's previous role as Nuclear Technician, not his current role as Safety Inspector. If there's one thing we know about this show, it has tight and unquestionable continuity.
At some point between this and the potential future of "Lisa's Wedding", Milhouse takes over as Homer's supervisor. Eugene's role at this point remains unknown.
