Chris kept it simple on this one. A very basic cylindrical slug made out of nickel bronze which he uses to fabricate valve guides out of. VERY tough material capable of going through a Kevlar vest easily.

Michael from Idaho sent these modified Fury Custom Bullet slugs filled with ferrocerium which send showers of sparks when they impact almost everything.
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for your support.

Chris is back with a new design to test out, this time made out of magnesium anodes.
I'm about a week behind, sorry for the delay.
thanks everyone!!

I bought this glass head on ebay and filled it with ballistic gel to simulate a human head and what it would be like to get hit wearing a ballistic helmet - even if the helmet stops the bullet. The helmet (which is probably made in China but we don't know) actually did a pretty good job with common calibers.
thanks everyone!

We finally test the 3 flute version of Alexey's solid brass slugs. I bumped up the velocity of these a tad to around 1650 fps.
Thanks everyone! I hope you enjoy this.

Newest design by Evan from Texas. Not sure what his inspiration was with these, but I thought they looked like chess pieces but my friends said they looked like nipples. These were all shot from a rifled barrel, since I was certain they needed the spin. They actually did really well.
Merry Christmas everyone, and happy holid...

We test out some bullet resistent face masks by Atomic Defense. It does a good job of stopping bullets, but would it still hurt you?

What an opportunity! We get a chance to test some pretty rare slugs that a viewer generously donated. I don't think there are even any videos of these Dixie slugs on Youtube. These are HARD CAST, 2 oz. dangerous game slugs. It's a shame these are not available for purchase anymore because I think many people would love to buy these.

Nick Ross modified his Russian Paradox mold so these are solid lead weighing 2.4 oz. It took a bit of research to find a powder load for these things, but I seemed to get one that didn't blow up the gun or injure the shooter from recoil. We managed to get these over 1100 fps, just a little shy of Mach 1. No signs of overpressure so &nb...

We test out Richard F's custom-made all copper slugs. Richard has been able to get these to 2000 fps using around 220 grains of powder. We don't have a shotgun with a 4" chamber and asking anyone to shoot more than one of those in a row would be cruel. The recoil is brutal. I loaded these with both 36 grains of Longshot and Steel powder and got an average of ...

We test Hammerhead slugs which I had high hopes for. However, these have a serious flaw with the quality of the plastic wad.

Danny returns! I decided to have him test a lightweight 12ga round. While people think "heavier is better" we argue the need for a light recoil shell (that doesn't really exist commercially) For these tests I just used Federal target loads for simplicity, and roll crimped them.

I had a handful of these slugs that Denver wanted me to test through full rifling, and wow, does time fly by. I finally got around to testing them after forgetting about them.
I had some very oddball problems with this video in regards to YT reviewing it. It almost immediately was demonetized. I couldn't imagine WHY.  ...

Gregg got ahold of the new FK BRNO that fires bullets at 2000 fps. We thought it would be interesting to see how this compares to a 9mm.

Alexey from Russia apparently was impressed so much with the Xtreme Penetrators that he decided to machine his own and send us some for testing. For kicks I wanted to see how close I could get to the velocity of the 10mm version of 1500 fps, and got very close.
Had a few minor hiccups with some of the wads, but there is no loading data for these at all. &...

This is definitely a testimonial to the strength of the 3D printing resin Michael used. I could not fit more powder into the 3" hull and still chamber them in Gregg's shotgun. We pushed these as hard as I could using rather fast burning powders (e3 and Titewad) and almost reached Mach 2. Around 2100 fps. We mostly used a fu...

Michael S. wanted us to test these rounds. They use a 3D printed sabot system that I believe are UV cured. From the beginning I was skeptical that the sabots would be strong enough to transfer energy to the lead balls without breaking up.
The package is pretty long, 1.75", which required me to use the shortest gas seals I had (x12x) &...

Grimburg Less Lethal HP68 are made for PAINTBALL guns to be shot between 300 and 400 FPS. We test them at over 1600 FPS. A channel called "Tech this out Meow" contacted me a couple years ago to try this, but at that time things were looking grim for my channel so I wasn't sure if I would be able to do the project. He persisted and asked me again to try it. In that time he made improvements to the armor and now claims it will stop rifle round.

This is Evan's latest design. It is an elongated diabolo shape. I believed these still needed spin if they had a chance of flying straight, so we used a rifled choke. However, the dimensions of these prevented proper engagement with the rifling so they had no spin at all. But that really didn't stop these from working very well. ...
