Aero-Slugs - An attempt at stabilized wax slugs

2020-08-03 21:46:42 +0000 UTCAn important thing I found was getting the lead shot to stack as perfectly as possible. If you have any voids, that's where they will break. It can also throw off the balance quite a bit too.

Once it sets up, it's more durable than wax and pretty flexible and soft enough to come apart on impact. I think silicone is too firm or rigid. As far as that goes, have you ever thought about mixing ballistic gel with the shot instead of crayons? That should hold the everything together pretty well, if you can get the right ratio. After last week's guest shooter, I half expected Danny to fight for his job by maybe wearing some lipstick or eye shadow, or something.
