Aero-Slugs - An attempt at stabilized wax slugs

I had high hopes for these slugs that were sent to us.   They were all ready loaded in shells so I can be blamed for a bad powder load!    Thanks everyone!

happy birthday Ryan!!

An important thing I found was getting the lead shot to stack as perfectly as possible. If you have any voids, that's where they will break. It can also throw off the balance quite a bit too.

I really want to see him hit 100k subs!

TAOFLEDERMAUS

It might work if it cures really fast, doesn't cost a lot, and is thin enough to allow the shot to stack into a perfect stack with just gravity.

Excellent video, guys. I was thinking liquid latex might be a good medium instead of wax. Once it sets up, it's more durable than wax and pretty flexible and soft enough to come apart on impact. I think silicone is too firm or rigid. As far as that goes, have you ever thought about mixing ballistic gel with the shot instead of crayons? That should hold the everything together pretty well, if you can get the right ratio. After last week's guest shooter, I half expected Danny to fight for his job by maybe wearing some lipstick or eye shadow, or something.

Always a soothing experience. Brought to you by some regular guys who retained their boyhood enthusiasm. Class act all around.

How about an ooblek binder?

Maybe Flex Seal, as seen on TV.

Really inconsistent, either loading technique or powder used. Maybe a tougher shot cup like an unslit steel shot wad and shot cup?

Epoxy may be too hard and brittle. I was thinking something like RTV silicone, or something like duxseal.

A new TFM video. That just made my birthday! Haha. Please take care everyone.

Perhaps 5 mint epoxy instead wax would hold the shot together better.
