I'm a few minutes late posting this here, sorry about that. We test out another design by Diceman, who was bound and determined to penetrate the AR500 plate!

We finally got some sun here after a depressing 2 weeks of dark skies. We test out Justin's Crapsule and Shardfart slugs. (I didn't name them!)

These are made from what I could get from Evan, some sort of organ parts. We can only guess sometimes, what Evan sends. It is always helpful when the designers send a "design note" along with the slugs giving us details of the design.

Aaron Neumeyer ASKED....
Great video, Jeff. I'm curious, when you melt the lead plate, what happens to the projectiles that were stuck in it? Do they melt too or after the lead gets soft, do you scoop them out?
The slugs and other stuff that isn't melted is skimmed off. This is some of the stuff I found, most isn't recognizable - sort of look like stuff ...

Many people who I showed this slug to said it is too long to stabilize - even with rifling. The big surprise about this was how well it performed from a SMOOTH BORE!

Today we have another design by Evan, who is quite good at creating self-stabilizing slugs. This slug looks like a metal spool, in fact if I handed on of these to you, you'd probably not recognize it as a 12ga. slug.

It's long and somewhat heavy. Can we stabilize this giant slug?

Today we test out Dan's 700 grain lead bar stools. I used his recipe and that gave us some really good results.

It's a massive slug in weight and size. How will it fly? You won't believe it!

We often imagine what a certain projectile will do, and the Unibit has been something MANY people have asked us to test out. Brian stepped up and made it happen! Thanks for supporting us on Patreon! I'll be posting another sticker give-away later this week with the new Danny sticker. Please be sure to enter the contest - my goal is to give away the stickers to everyone.

Does having a left hand twist on the ribs make a slug behave differently from one with a right hand twist?

Last month I gave out 6 or 7 sets of stickers. Hopefully the winners have gotten them. This month I added a new design. I plan to order more of the 2" green stickers since I only ordered 20 of those to make sure the company (Hub City Slaps) was a good company. They are a fine Texan company. TO ENTER - just post a comment below. I will send a private message to the selected winn...

I've started having stickers made and this is what I have so far. I plan to add more in the future. There are three 3" stickers and one 2" sticker. I have been giving these away only to guest shooters and people I meet. I thought they'd be great to give away to Patreon supporters. Brian recently drove down and chose to shoot his own slugs. A VERY long slug with a pure tungsten core. While we had a LOT of problems with these, there was a magic moment.

We had some loading hiccups with these but after a few minor tweaks, got them functioning quite well. This might be one of the most destructive hand-made slugs we have tested.
