After having my second gallery show in 2013, a year or so later I was getting the itch to work on another series again. While I really enjoyed that second series, Freedom, the idea of doing studio work and being a bit more conceptual appealed and I hit on the idea of a tribal feel. I had no intention of appropriating any cultures but rather find ways to invoke a more generic tribal feel.

A naked interpretation

In typical Libran fashion, I'm full of contradictions. While I like to think that people can see my work and recognise it as mine, I also don't want to do the same thing all the time. My outdoor work to me feels very consistent and probably recognisable and my studio images have a fairly consistent feel in terms of lighting but I'm always trying to find new ways to keep myself entertained.
