Yesterday I got to work with a really lovely guy who came to meet me at my exhibition last year. Twenty-five year old Jacques is an intriguing guy to look at. He has this boyish face sitting on top of this GIANT body. At 6'3" and 105kg with long legs and muscles galore it's a physical presence. He's a very dedicated gym bunny who just wants to get bigger.
When he took his shirt off and turned around, I noticed, as you'll notice in the photos, that there are some pimples on his back. Obviously I didn't mention them and I certainly didn't ask whether he was using growth hormones or anything. it's none of my business. But it does leave me with a dilemma. Do I retouch or not? My inclination is not. The vibe of the shoot was simple and I generally don't do a lot of retouching. If there is an isolated spot here and there I will because it will be fast and simple but this would be quite a challenge.
What do you think?
