The Barrett .416 - Better than the .50 bmg

UV Powder Porch Pirate Trap (diabolical)

I've been sick for the last week so I am a little behind.    We test out the Fith Ops perimeter alarm using  UV identifier shells that covers the perp with an invisible powder that becomes visible under a black or UV light.   I cringed at making this video.

This is just one of many strange activities we did as little kids.   We'd cut apart golf balls and expose the wound-rubber band interior.   If we found the RIGHT golf ball,   it was pretty cool.  It kept us busy and out of trouble.

Rocket Nozzle Shotgun Slugs

In order to fly under the radar of Youtube's censors (they really don't understand what we are doing)  I had to be a little cagey about HOW we propelled these slugs.  The focus is on the slugs,  not the shotgun, anyways.    I used slightly  varying powder charges to control the velocities.

Mini-Cannon Ridiculous Slo-Mo Shots

I wasn't sure what to do with this last cannon sent to us by Pyro Creations.  It's quite a bit less-powerful that the other cannons and very quiet.   The best ammo I discovered were empty 12ga shells which fit snugly over the barrel and you can fill the barrel completely with black powder.   They flew like redneck Nerf darts,  over 100 feet and were pretty accurate...

We finally were able to test the toilet paper shotgun slugs.    We didn't say how we got these to over 1000 mph (a shotgun)   so it will be interesting if youtube will demonetized THIS video.

Tiny Cannon powered by 209 primer

Pyro Creations has a new cannon that is powered by a 209 primer and can be fitted with three different barrels.   It works well with air rifle pellets ,  though the company sells lead balls for all three barrel sizes.

The Moose Bullet - Black powder bullet adapted for 12ga.

Who would have thought a black powder bullet would function so well as a 12ga slug?    I never would have thought it would but  Larrry thought they might.    These were cast from Moose Mould's  wadcutter hollow-base mold.  Unless you are a hardcore black powder shooter,  you probably never heard of this company either.

Magnum Mini Balls

We test out Warwolf's 3" magnum lead round balls.   Round balls are definitely not as accurate as Minie balls,   but SEEM to perform a little better with rifling.  

I spoke with the owner of the company and suggested they offer loaded Minie Ball rounds.

How to make a .69 Cal. Minie Ball work in a .73 cal Shotgun

I have gotten many people telling us that a Minie ball doesn't need a sabot or even a gas seal to function in a 12 ga shotgun.   "it's designed to expand in the barrel"  was the common denominator as far as criticisms go.    We've made enough mistakes over the years to know what NOT to do.    So we just treated these like any modern sub-caliber round...

Fury Slug and Minie Ball through rifled choke tube

A few people asked us to see if these would even function through a rifled choke.   Surprisingly they worked quite well.   We'll post full-videos of each of these slugs as soon as we film them.
