Seems like - apart from the funky spiral - they retained directional stability. I would think that the dispersion would be affected by where the missing part of the bullet was as the bullet left the muzzle and was no longer under the constraint of the barrel. That is, if the missing part faced downward at exit, there would be a moment upward, to the left rightward, etc. Seems like the only way to combat it would be to place them in the same orientation in the chamber so they all exited in the same orientation - and then check the consistency. It's an interesting question - how much dispersive force relative to the gyroscopic stabilization force.

Interesting. I recently read an article on one of the outdoor sites where pistol bullets were deliberately seated crooked in the shell to see if it effected accuracy. Surprisingly, the crooked bullets were just as accurate as the straight ones.
