More commission work! After ages, this is complete. Many, many thanks to Scraith for being so patient with me. I'm so happy I got to help them create this character, and with the end result!
While I was finishing this one, I actually went back and tweaked the look of the first ref, for better readability and so that it matched the naga form.

Before I did the Bower piece last month, I had to do some serious acclimatizing, so I tried some little sketches to get a feel for him. He's so different!
I still like the smaller sketches in here, especially the one of him strutting in the top right.
One thing I changed about him was his feet. I'm pretty sure Bowser is supposed to be plantigrade, but... Idunno, I just really didn't...

I don't know if I have ever drawn something hollow quite like this, and having to keep mind of all the forms in such overt 3...
This is just a fun piece I've been plucking at over many weekends.
