I don't know if I have ever drawn something hollow quite like this, and having to keep mind of all the forms in such overt 3D confused me for a long time. I am so glad I stuck with it, though, because I really like how this came out in the end.
I decided to just double down on being out of my element, by trying heavy linework rather than my usual brushes, and by making them light, for this neat deep black effect. I like it!
I was also inspired by Liche, who does beautiful monster girls with an amazingly attractive style ♥
