Greeting the new year with a fun painting of Mist! I have been into trying to make the atmosphere look sort of underwater by adding the background color to the edges of the character and blurring a bit of the character's edges.

I don't always want to spend time painting detailed backgrounds for my characters, so I CHEAT! Here are my hacks/cheats for adding backgrounds to my character art.
