Moonlit Dryad//Rewards Here

Deep in the tangled wilds, where only nature and magic calls home, sits a small glen, strangely clear of the snarled bushes and branches of the surrounding forest.  Within the center of that glen, grows an old twisted Juniper tree, dotted with vines and moonflowers.  It doesn't take one practiced in the mystical arts to recognize that this is no ordinary tree and no ordinary place.  

Sure enough, if you were to find yourself resting quietly beside this twisted tree for the evening, you might catch a glimpse of unusual movement in the branches.  As the moon casts it's silver light and the moonflowers slowly open their blossoms, a glowing, curious gaze might also open to land on your resting form.  

Should you not move, and remain calm, the owner of those golden eyes might even slowly creep quietly closer, close enough for you to glimpse a creature from the oldest tales.  Mythology long thought fantasy.  A dryad, or tree spirit, maybe even one of the last of her kind.

Hi hi pals!  I hope your week is going well so far.  Not gonna lie, the past couple weeks of getting back into the swing of working in the office after being out for winter holiday has totally drained me!  I'm sure I'll get back into the groove of everything, but it has been a little tough to find that balance of coming home and working on new art at the end of the day.  Sometimes I've been able to do it, and sometimes I just fall right to sleep!

Anyhoo!  I am excited to finish this portrait that we started on stream a couple weeks ago!  I hope you like how she came out.  I had a lot of fun with everything on this one.  I really loved the design, the lineart, and the lighting.  

As we discussed during that stream, she does exist in the same universe as Mist and her name is Juniper!  Thank you twitch chat for helping come up with her name!
