I finally own not one, but two tool carts!
I wanted to thank Patreon Philipp here as well who provided me with these amazing tools. He works for Hazet (perhaps as the CEO?) and sent me these goodies pretty much no strings attached. Truly generous and kind and I couldn't be more grateful. You are awesome, Philipp!
The cart with the wooden top was empty as I needed to store som...

Howdy, folks!
Part 5 of project Karlsruhe has landed! We service the brakes in this one and replace aftermarket wheels with beautiful Style 4 wheels.
Took me a while to make this video, sprucing up brake calipers is an unexpectedly time-consuming process.
I was also on a short vacation (5 days) in Malaga with my girlfriend, I've been working full steam since the beginning ...

Here we go! First drive on the Autobahn for project Raleigh!
I have to admit, I'm blown away by the E60 M5. What a fantastic machine and feat of engineering. I adore it! Already in my top 2 favorite cars.
Hope you enjoy POV drive as much as I did. I tried to capture that spectacular exhaust and induction noise which is tricky to do with a microphone. In person, it sounds even...

Alrighty, boys & galls! Something different in the episode!
Was thinking of a way to best utilize the space in the shop and I couldn't find anything to buy that fit the bill. I got a used storage rack and turned it into a lovely workbench with lots of storage and easy access to tools. Pretty happy with the results.
As per usual, I tried to make it entertaining as I bumble my wa...

Part 11 has landed! In this episode, we address all of the outstanding mishaps from the previous one and finally install M sport bumpers which now wear the correct paint and match with the rest of the car.
The touring has come a very long way since episode 1. I wasn't really planning to go this far with it initially, but it's a build I always wanted to do. Clean, factory spec E46 M-spor...

Been busy setting up the new dojo!
Started with the workbench. After much research trying to find something to buy, I decided to make my own. Got a used rack, 4 meters long, 4 meters high. The first row I turned into a worktable and everything above will be used for storage. The 2nd shelf is high enough so it clears my head when moving about.
Got thick wood for the workbench (...

Here is the tour of the new workshop!
We talk how we are going to furnish it with new lifts & equipment.
I also took this opportunity to answer some of the most common questions that I get.
We don't do any work in this video and I just talk, which is kinda boring for me, but lets see how you like it.
In the next one, I'm starting to move the stuff from the old one...

Say Hej to project Skövde!
I honestly had a great time traveling to Sweden, checking out the car and meeting the owner Micheal. The M5 is great and exactly as described. Going to be an awesome project for the channel!
I really love making these road trip videos and now I'm regretting for not being able to go to Castellón and Marseille for the E21 & E31 and do the same. But in ...

Project Skövde is a go!
Having a lovely trip so far. Flew in today and the owner, Michael, picked me up from the train station in Skövde. Incredibly nice guy and the car is exactly how he described it.
Honest M5 in original condition, no rust to speak of, some surface stuff underneath but easily cleaned up. Jacking points, fenders, doors, sides skirts... rust free. It was entire...

Part 4 of project Raleigh is here! The nasty interior is finally cleaned up and some bits refreshed.
The E60 is now ready for the inspection and in the next episode, I'm taking it to TUV and if all goes well, this beast will fly down the Autobahn very soon. Can't wait!
Also, on Friday I'm flying to Skovde to see that M car!

Patience and persistence finally paid off and I'm getting a proper place to work in and best of all, it's in the same location where I'm at now!
It all worked out funny. I actually found a different space in the old Opel car factory in Rüsselsheim, massive space, cheap rent and I was pretty much ready to move there.
I've been asking my current landlords for many, many months if ...

We get familiar with the E21 in this episode and do the initial inspection. I'm super stoked for this project and can't wait to get it running & driving! It's totally different than the models I'm used to working on so this will be a big learning curve.
Not sure when the next episode is going to come but ...

I was planning to do a complete exterior M sport conversion in this episode, but it backfired.
We install beautiful Style 135 rims wrapped in Falken tires, which is the newest supporter of the channel! They sent me a set of tires for E46 and E60 M5 which is awesome!

Yup, I did it again. Last week a very cheap E32 750iL popped for sale in Logroño, Spain. Complete, non-runner, parked since 2016 but the owner had it running recently with starter fluid as fuel pumps are dead. Being a Spanish car, it's rust-free and with a price tag of 900€, I pulled the trigger. I bought it mainly cause I'll need a lot of parts for project Karlsruhe and having a cheap parts...

A huge achievement to have it in this condition now after it was totally inoperable and neglected for 10 years.

Here's one awesome picture of the beautiful E21 sitting on this lovely classic Mercedes tow truck in Alicante. Thought you'd appreciate it as you just never see this nowadays.
I know that the production date of the car is 01/1980, but I still can't figure out the color. I think it's Olive green (Olivgrün Metallic) which was only available for the year 1980. Regardless, I really lov...

Say Hola to project Castellón!
Some of you guessed it. It's the genesis, the very first generation of the 3 series!
1980 BMW E21 323i, the most powerful 3 series back in the day!
Truthfully, I wasn't looking for this model, I just did my usual scan of car listings before I went to bed when this one caught my eye. Texted the seller in the morning and got the ball rolling.

Man, what a struggle though. I repaired stripped spark plug threads with the head in situ, I'll talk about this more in the video, but used axle grease on the tap which minimizes the amount of shavings that land in the engine, which is inevitable with this method.
After enlarging the threads, used timesert (a sleeve with t...
