Started with the workbench. After much research trying to find something to buy, I decided to make my own. Got a used rack, 4 meters long, 4 meters high. Project Skövde is a go!
Having a lovely trip so far. Flew in today and the owner, Michael, picked me up from the train station in Skövde. Incredibly nice guy and the car is exactly how he described it.

The E60 is now ready for the inspection and in the next episode, I'm taking it to TUV and if all goes well, this beast will fly down the Autobahn very soon. Can't wait!

Yup, I did it again. Last week a very cheap E32 750iL popped for sale in Logroño, Spain. Complete, non-runner, parked since 2016 but the owner had it running recently with starter fluid as fuel pumps are dead. The long-anticipated part 2 of project Raleigh is finally here! This is the longest video I made to date that took the most time, effort and money to create.
It's all about the S85 V10 engine in this one. We are starting with the number one item with this car and that is the rod bearings. I had to make sure the engine is in good condition before I dump more money into it.

Where to begin. Rod bearings are done and they didn't look too terrible for miles and the crank is thankfully mint. I also did a ton of while-in-there stuff to the point that my wallet is crying.
New episode of project Cologne has landed! In this installment, I retrofitted power-folding mirrors, power rear windows and Hi-Fi sound system. This was a ton of work, but quite happy I did it, folding mirrors and better speakers are really nice upgrades. Electric rear windows I'll likely use twice in 3 years, but at least no more ugly crank handle.
