Building a Simple Workbench For Working On Cars - Workshop Build: Part 1

Alrighty, boys & galls! Something different in the episode!

Was thinking of a way to best utilize the space in the shop and I couldn't find anything to buy that fit the bill. I got a used storage rack and turned it into a lovely workbench with lots of storage and easy access to tools. Pretty happy with the results.

As per usual, I tried to make it entertaining as I bumble my way around. Do let me know how you like it!

Loved this video, want to get to building one of my own in the future. Keep it up!

Amazing!!

Great to see the new space evolving into a haven. Sreten keep up the good work. @bimmer860 IG

Ha! Same here. Wanted to help with the increased rent charge. But it was more of a selfish investment to be honest. Bigger garage equals bigger projects and longer vids lol. So, it's a win for everyone.

This was awesome man. As someone who is consistently trying to set up their home garage in a way that makes sense and always running into ways it could be better only after everything is bolted down, this was satisfying to watch.

Had to subscribe to the Patreon after the latest vid, just want to be a part of the new workshop somehow! XD

Yes I enjoyed this 👌🏻

I do expect some parcour videos now ... maybe over some old neglected BMWs?

Underrated part of your channel is your editing. 22:14 is the best edit I've seen so far on the channel 😀 There have been edits on other videos that have been so smooth I can't tell if you cut the clips or not. Keep up the good work!

Brilliant bit of work! ..not just James May, entire TG production team would be proud of that ;-)

I agree too that we watch anything you post. I very like your sence of humor and will also measure in Kevins and Lemons from now on. Look forward to next content.

Great use of an industrial shelving. May I suggest chamfering or filleting that lower left corner of the table so it won't hurt as much if you accidentally run into it.

Oooh Project Castellon can’t wait!!

It’s in your hands, Sreten. Automotive or anything you’ll make it work. Now can’t wait to see Project Castellón’s guts all over that workbench😜

Nice! Two of the previous houses I have owned I built a work bench to take advantage of all the available space. Sadly my current house has a garage that has a bench already but not really suited for working on.

Definitely taking the aluminum plates idea for my current workbench build. Will look forward to watching more of this, your editing is superb and your videos are entertaining whether you're working on cars or not.

Loving it! So therapeutic to watch haha

I have to agree with you and Emmett. I have been looking and planning on a large tool chest, but the functionality of a bench with tools displayed and accessible is a much better idea, and the combination of them together is brilliant. Add to that the overhead storage and you've just convinced me that this is much better, more flexible, and will result in less time labeling drawers or opening drawers or trying to wheel something around or wasting more space. Well done and great video.....I'd steal Kevins and Lemons but none of my buddies would appreciate the jokes!

🤣

Thank you! Exactly, once you remember where what goes, it's so quick and easy to grab tools.

As someone mentioned before, we will watch pretty much anything you post 😁 But seriously, I like this type of videos and cant wait to see your new place finished.

Not boring at all, really good to watch. I always imagined my dream garage would have a wheeled toolbox in it, but I actually prefer this idea of having everything pinned to the wall. Much easier to grab what you want, no searching through drawers, etc.

Very very nice.

Great video! Can't wait to see the workshop fully finished.

Lighting will always be measured in Kevins and Lemons by me now 😎

Love it!!

As usual, very entertaining! Loved that flamingo guitar music!! Exelente!!!!

Very nice! Superb job! Those bastard screws are tri wing screws. They are used by Nintendo. When u buy an ifixit kit you will get the right tools if you are willing to open that shit.

James May approves.😉 Workshop is looking great so far. Looking forward to the continuation!👍

I liked this a lot, great work as usual. You have given me an idea for my garage!

This was very enjoyable as well. You got a lot of work done, congrats!

Super excited for this series!

Do a opening party when you are done 🎉😁

Lovely job! I really enjoyed it. Just don’t forget to ancor the rack to the floor (or wall) 😇.

Looks great! Excited to see your workshop/garage fully finished. :)
