I did a thing.

Paused work on the Deluxe merge to bust out a new one-off for those at Fan-Favorite and higher. The poll was made, and the people have spoken. They said "Futa Fuck-Fest, please" and so Old Dogs, New Tricks pt. 2 is now a thing. Links will go out shortly and are up on the Discord as well.

What will the next one-off be?

I basically have two ideas for what the next one-off could be and they're both very different, so I figured I'd leave it up to you which one I do first. Whichever one loses will still be released, just at a later time.

Basic merge is complete.

The "basic" version of the game is done and I'll be sending links out to everyone shortly. You can also find the links in the normal places. Beware... it's ~7.4 gigs, so... yeah. I'm including a google drive link for the PC version as well as the Mega link in case that helps anyone.

Scaling back.

I've decided to scale back on the the amount of "extras" I'm going to be including due to how long this is taking. I have a basic episode selection and the profiles added in, but I'm not going to do individual scenes inside each episode or h-scene selection. It would just take an incredible amount of time to implement all of those things and I want to move forward at some point in time.

I've finished with the most basic part of the merge, which is to say that all the episodes are together. I still need to go through and tweak things here and there, but as for the "main" part, it's pretty much done.

That leaves the "extras." I've pretty much decided what I'm going to add and think I know how to go about adding them, but it's a lot of work ahead. Nothing too difficult, but...

At this point in time, this post may be redundant, but I wanted to make sure that there's no questions concerning the way I'll be proceeding in the future, both long and short term. I'm also going to go over what's next on my to-do list as of this moment.

Still merging

I'm up to Week 7 on the merger front. Week 6 caused me a bit of trouble as I made a decision that was going to cause me a ton of extra work, then was considering making another decision which would have given me like 6 months of extra work, then I started to get the same feeling I got when I was struggling with the Christmas special, so I made yet another decision to undo all previous decisions...

I'm about to start on Week 4 for the merge. I'm basically just going through and bring code and some game elements up to date. As I move along, less work is required, especially in the code fixing part.

The end is in sight, though to be fair, you can see really far away on a clear day. Anyway, the show is in the bag. I finished the last segment, plugged it into the script, and did all the things that need to be done to it in order to call it finished.

Okay, so maybe we're not that close to the end, but I did finish the last match of the episode. Of course, it's quite a bit shorter than the other matches but... it's still done, right?

I've also written the next segment, so as soon as I'm done plugging the third match into the script, I'll start in on that and the last in-ring segment. I still haven't written the wrap-up stuff, but that ...

Everything with the second match is done now, including the normal post-production stuff. I've just finished capturing the scene that follows the second match, which is actually kind of two short scenes spliced together. I just need to edit some of the video from one of the two segments and finish plugging it into the script, and then I'll be on to the final match.

Second match is done, next up is the post-match shenanigans, then plugging it all into the script. That should be done today. After that it's onto the next short segment, then the Queen of the Obscene match, another short segment, the final match and the wrap-up.

I've also already captured the ring entrances I needed to, so it's just a matter of editing them together and plugging them in....

I've progressed up to the start of the second match, but instead of starting on it right away, I got a wild hair up my ass to bust out a one-off. It's already completely written, and everything except for the outro sequence has been captured.

The biggest hurdle of the episode is behind me, and now it's just normal sized hurdles in the shape of the other two matches. I've also finished the segment that follows the first match, so we're probably about a third-ish of the way through. This week has a few extra in-ring segments that aren't matches, so it's hard to judge exactly how far along we are.

Finally back home!

I'm out of the hospital and feeling better, so now it's time to get back to work! I'm eager to get back to it, but I still need to figure out what I'm going to focus on to begin with. I may start with some writing on week 10 and see how I feel after that.
