I just finished up the biggest scene of day 7, and now I have to edit the animations and plug everything into the script. I added an extra bit of dialogue as an addendum to that scene, so I need to do that and the last little dialogue scene and we're done. I finished up day 6, and I have the initial draft written of the three day 7 segments I have in mind. If nothing changes, it shouldn't be too much longer before I'm in final post-production.

2 of the 3 segments are pretty short. I've decided that I don't need to show every damn thing that happens, so day 7 is basically one slightly more fleshed-out scene book-ended by two shorter dialogue...

Sideways progress.

I say sideways progress because while I did make a bit of forward progress with finishing up the second segment of day 6 and starting on the following segment, I mainly worked on finishing up what would normally be the post-production stuff on everything I had done up to this point.

Writing is hard.

I have most of the second segment of day 5 done, I just need to get this last bit of stupid dialogue done. I've rewritten it several times already but I'll eventually get it right. Probably.

Since I was struggling with that, I went ahead and started writing the next segment, which I have also rewritten multiple times. I think I finally wrestled that to a place I can be happy with, though,...

I have gotten a new video editing program to test out, so I went back and completely finished up day 4. The first scene of day 5 is also in the bag, and I just finished writing the second scene, which is a bit more serious, but moves along fairly quickly so as not to linger on the downer bits.

I finally finished the final scene of day 4! I also finished 2 of the 3 scenes of day 5, and wrote the third, as well as the first scene of day 6. Hell... I even know what the second scene of day 6 will be, as well as the second scene of day 7! Look at me! Doing things!

For our first new model, I mentioned that you'd be learning why Victoria is in the pokey, so that means I needed a younger Victoria for a few flashbacks.

A small stumble forward...

Once again, I'm afraid that there isn't much progress to report, but I think the thing I was stuck on is taken care of now. I started working on the final segment of the fourth day and rendered the first part of it, but when it was time to start work on the second half, I just couldn't get started. There wasn't anything really wrong with the scene per se, but I wasn't in love with it.

Well, I pretty much have another scene almost done, but a problem has arisen, because why wouldn't it?

You might have noticed that some of the animations lately have a bit of a studder in the loop point making it not as smooth as they often are. Some of that was due to the animations themselves not syncing up in large group scenes, but it's also because of my video editing program itself....

I'm not going to time gate this one because it would be after Halloween by the time most people got to play the Halloween special, and that's just dumb!

It's the one-off that never ends

And it driving me crazy, my friends. Okay... technically I should be in post-production on this as I spent all day yesterday and most of today posing and rending the sexy-time animations, then plugging everything into the script.

Then I spent a chunk of time in photoshop fixing some clipping stuff, so that was fun. Adding the sounds is going to take a bit longer than normal because I need...

Finally some progress.

Not a ton because I was still waffling on how to tackle the scene I mentioned before, but I think I'm just going to cheat and shorten it quite a bit so I can get to the boobies. I should be able to finish the sequence up today and then start working on the fun parts. Hopefully the Halloween one-off will be out in a few days at most and then I can get back to work on Week 9.5.
