Christmas is (probably) cancelled.

Bear with me here. I'll be going to the hospital in the next couple of days to deal with a health issue I've been struggling with so I don't know how much I'll be posting in the near future. Needless to say, I haven't made a ton of progress with the Christmas special, and that's for more reasons than just how I feel physically.

I've poked at making progress on the special, and the more progress I made, the less I felt like working on it. One of those reasons is that I just don't feel happy with how it's turning out. It might be the fact that I'm not in the best frame of mind to look at the project objectively, but I'll have to wait until I'm back in better health to judge it objectively.

Another reason is that the way I'm doing the alternate (non-sharing) path feels so emotionless that I've started to truly hate even working on it. It could just be that I made a decision to try to keep the two paths easier to work on simultaneously and that choice wasn't a good one, but whatever it is, it's souring me on the entire project at the moment. Again, this might be a product of my current state of mind, but it's how I feel at this point in time.

So... here's my plan as it stands for now. First is to get back on my feet health-wise so I can look at what I have objectively. After that, if I still feel the same about what I have done at the moment, I will drop the Christmas special for the time being and work on what I need to do to bring myself peace, which is working on Week 10 and getting that finished to end the "season."

I have decided that that will mark the end of the NSFW in it's current form. I'm not done with the NSFW, but I'm going to wrap up everything I have done so far into one package and call that a game. No cliffhanger ending that I had planned or anything like that... the game called Natural Selection Female Wrestling will be complete.

There's still a couple of one-offs that need to be finished, but besides that, it will be done.

After that, I will be starting pre-production stuff on a spin-off made in Honey Select 2 that will take place roughly 20 years after Natural Selection Female Wrestling, tentatively called "Masters Island" and also start working on what would technically be season 2 of the NSFW, with a minor name change of Natural Seduction Female Wrestling. This will take place roughly 2 to 3 years after the end of the first game and will still be in the KK engine.

I will go over what is going to change and why at a later date, though I'm sure you can probably guess at a couple of the changes from what I've already said. I know a lot of you won't be happy with the changes, but I can't feasibly see a way to continue as is with what I have planned story-wise. Either way, I thank you for all the support you've shown me over the course of the NSFW and understand if you step away from the project after the end of Natural Selection.

I need to stop typing now. I'll try to be around with updates as I can and hopefully soon I'll be back in the game and crunching out the goods on a more timely basis.
