Man, I love Wash. He's such a morally grey asshole.
I was lazy af when thumbing that last panel, apparently. Got to do something nice over it, though.

Some artists are scared of drawing hands, but right there's my *bread and butter*, yo.
Also hi again to Corporal Vanns, back from p.11.30.

65 characters on this page *no problem* silhouette powers activate.
Also say hi to our OC volunteer: Hartley Harms!

Funny how a script can hang up on a single word. I started with "dumbass"; decided it was too friendly for Tex (IIRC she never used it in the show); changed it to "stupid"; my proofreader thought it was clunky; considered "idiot," but it was too angry/mean; and then landed on "moron" this morning before drawing.

Colored version will be uploaded later. But hey, if you squint here you can see the MSPaint.
Thanks to you guys, here's some early access on chapter 12!
Now, to remember to draw that cover page...
edit: This here's a color test.
I'm only pinging this one to see what y'all think of the style, going forward.
It's some tricks I was considering si...
The gag here was a stroke of genius from Lady_Vossler. It's a warm-up drawing for me, since I'm diving into drawing thumbnails for chapter 12 tomorrow.
It was a rough few weeks of picking through old notes (and a lot of coffee), but here we are:

The first complete draft of the script: 33 ch...

Been off the wagon for a minute on this project. I was focused on comics and art streams, but around the end of December I slowly picked this back up. Scene 7! One more to go. You'll notice I forwent character detail in favor of finished backgrounds. This makes sense to me, considering the characters will be replaced with models in Blender for the final. I just need these story reels for the ke...

It's an update! Muchas gracias to my patrons for helping make this one possible in good time.
Our experiment these past two chapters was the return to fully hand-drawn pages. In that time I received about 1.5 question(s) over it, yet they weren't framed as a complaints. Whether this indicates that readers didn't notic...

Hmm, is ~Heathen Metal~ or ~ Check Your Werewolves at the Door~ a better title for this update?
Either way, website post this weekend!
Our friends in panel one, starting from York:
Grunt #8, Scribe_the_Grey, hawkpeltandrew, CT, Corporal Vanns, Sykes Normatus.
One more page in the chapter!

Thank Lady_Vossler for BORB, and also this assuring command:

That Red Team dialogue, always served fresh.
(I consider Andee an honorary Red)
edit: moved Wash dialogue from 11.29

There's some more background work to do (note to self: first panel), but I wanted to go ahead and get this out. We're starting on the last batch of chapter 11!

This post brought to you by my sweet patrons! Thank you guys always~
The website is updated with the full-color versions of pages 17-26, so this post is the February charge for that.
Tex's debut in the comic was something I'd been tooling around with since the comic started, and I knew wha...

These morning shifts really kickin' my ass.
Anyway! Here's the closer on the update. I'm going to make an *effort* to shade 10 pages in three days, but if that fails expect the website update on the 21st or 22nd.
With all the machinery and platforms, pages like these make me miss set-building in Blender. That considered, it's been fun getting over my fear of complex backgrounds.

At what point are you enjoying tying down and beating the crap out of your ex too much?
Bonus first panel! I re-drew this one because it had the exact same framing as the last panel on the previous page.

I've finished the thumbnails through p.26, which means this coming update will be *ten pages.* The good(?) news off that is y'all won't be charged for January, since there's no chance I'll complete that many pages before the end of the month.

My biggest hang-up this week has been thumbnails (especially p. 22-23), BUT we can talk more misery on those when we get there. In the meantime, I hope everyone's enjoying their best life and watching AGDQ this weekend.
