Well - sometimes you also gotta work on something you don't like. For me that's still the many menus and the logic behind them.  Settings menu, sub menus for resolution, gfx quality, Brightness, sound, tutorials and such. Also functions to switch a menu from a menu, so from settings menu you can get into the graphics menu and then to the resolution menu and back. Sounds simple, but such stuff...

Boring work for exciting games...

Today i spent much time with the startup menu. Also started the settings menu. Actually working with menus is very boring for a developer - especially if you already created some. But oh well - we really need a startup menu - every proper game has one. Well almost... Today was another very productive programming day. I was programming and animating for pretty much 8 hours straight without any major glitches, bugs or so. OK - a little bit struggle. And 3 of like 20 aniations were bugged. But nothing big. So i pretty much finished the "public demo" screen, I started working on the startup menu and then i got extreme.

Oh well,todays development day was another big bag of failure. Well so i got the new girl model finished and exported the model, animation and morphs. Took like forever. Then I imported them into the engine and after around an hour of waiting i had it crash to eternity - out of memory.


So i exported again - reduced the number of morphs, waited for ages and imported it again after free...

Learning to walk is difficult - at least with high heels...

Have spent the whole day implementing the 1st "girlfriend". So now you can use the phone, call (summon) your girlfriend and then ask her to get screwed on the bed. Progress!

Well today i spent much time with the in-game menu. Finally i got the action menu right and working as it should.

So far there is only 1 light switch yet that you can use to turn on or off the hallway lights. I also spent some time making the lights looking more realistic.

Sometimes restarting from scratch is an option...

I learned so much about optimizing a scene that I think I can get the game to a constant 90 fps with virtually every halfway legit combination of VR headset and gfx card.
