Back on the battlefield
Added 2018-02-06 20:14:55 +0000 UTCYeah, finally back. Actually i was terribly ill, so i was bedridden for quite a while. While my internet connection here at home is way too slow to upload anything it doesn't mean i just kept sleeping all the time. I took the chance to work a bit on a new VR project and also some new features for Hot appartment. Best news - i talked a friend into a deal so he got my old 55 inch 3D TV and i got his HTC Vive. Yay! But oh boy the Vive is space and time consuming. Definitely not really meant for the family living room. But I'll try to find a nice spot in the basement to test it out a bit.
While the Vive is a quantum leap for all of us (Now that i have a Vive and controllers it is like 80000% easier to develop for the controllers) I stand before the next problem. First beta of Leap motion support is finished, but same problem - it makes limited sense to program for leap motion without having one. Also supporting VR controllers AND leap motion at the same time seems to e a challenge.
