This time it's Artifact, Maven (Kana's mom!) and the pool twins! Yes, that's right, now you can get them WET, if you know what I mean. I mean you can go swimming with them. What else?

Merry Christmas, everyone! It's winter and the snow is on the ground, so you know what that means... it's time to make snowmen! I hope everyone has had a great month, and here's to things looking up in 2021!

I had a little surprise waiting for Pixie when we came home last night. Cookies and milk, just for her.

It's even colder today... we searched and searched but couldn't find a single animal. I tried to convince Pixie to come back home (her little body is very susceptible to cold) but she clutched at the little sack of gifts and said she didn't want to leave until she'd given everyone "the bestest" Christmas...

The cold has kinda driven most of the local wildlife into their various homes... so Pixie was really excited when we stumbled across some sheep out in a field!
They scattered IMMEDIATELY as she flew towards them, yelling happily, but eventually we managed to coax them back to their feeder again (and no farmer around, thank goodness)! We ended up giving them some berries ("As dessert!" Pi...
Woke up this morning to find a sudden cold snap had covered the countryside in ice and snow... It's pretty bitter outside, but Pixie refused to be daunted!
She decided we needed help, though, so we went and got my parents' dog. Everyone say hi to Sooty! (You may have noticed him in the background of a previous photo, actually). I was watching a documentary on Huskies with Pixie the other...
My younger brother works in a place with Highland cows so that was our destination today!
Pixie's always been a little wary of cows, but this little calf stole her heart immediately and she ended up feeding it goodies right from her hands for most of the morning (I made sure the other cows didn't feel left out).
I think she has plans to come back later and take a nap in its fur......
I know, I know, it looks weird... but to Pixie, insects and worms and such all count as "animals" and she was determined that all of them should have a great Christmas.
This is her calling for the insects to come out and get their gifts. She was pretty disappointed when none of them did, but I told her they were probably just shy and she ended up putting some seeds under the mushrooms fo...
Oh dear, oh dear - it's a deer! (Don't blame me for that one. It was early in the morning when I took this photo and I wasn't thinking and just said it... Pixie thought it was THE FUNNIEST THING and made me put it in this post. So blame her!)
Anyway, yeah... a neighbour mentioned there was a deer in her garden, so off we went to check! It seemed more interested in the shrubbery at first,...
Just as we were about to head outside, what do we find but a partridge waiting for us! It's not in a pear tree, but still... it's either a good sign or a pretty spooky coincidence!
Pixie gave it some seed... though it seemed rather more interested in her hat. Pixie's pretty exhausted after chasing it down, so we'll head out properly tomorrow.
Time to put together the "Santa's Sack" of gifts! Pixie originally wanted to give all the animals ice cream, but I managed to convince her that would be a very bad idea. So instead they're getting nuts, seeds and berries.
Pixie's even helping gather everything into a big pile! Guess who's going to have to carry the sack, though.
(I'm spending the next two weeks with my family, but I didn't want to leave all you lovely Patrons with nothing, so... welcome to Pixie's Christmas Adventure! A little diary of sorts on what Pixie is getting up to each day. These will be posted every weekday that I'm away, and I hope you enjoy!)
