Wow, that's quite the feedback! I'm glad you like the game so much, and I really do appreciate the time you took to write out all your thoughts and suggestions - I appreciate kind words and critiques both, as they all help me improve :) As for contributing, honestly, while the financial support from everyone has been truly amazing (and humbling), I'm just really happy that people are playing the game and having fun with it. First time player here. Absolutely LOVE this stuff! Excellent and immersive story, the MC is neither such a blank slate that he seems detached from the rest of the world while allowing the player to influence him to such an extent that you never feel like you have no control over events,the pacing is neither too fast nor stagnant, the narrative of the mind control aspects doesn't shy away from the questionable morality of it but still makes it so smooth in execution that you, as a player, can feel the temptation just as much as the MC likely can. The MC is neither a weakling nor extraordinarily powerful from the start, yet the game suggests that you can polish him up to be an exceptional powerful individual even without the mind tricks eventually - exemplified in the fact that the MC can outperform the weakest members of a race that's supposed to be incomparably more powerful than humans in strength with relative ease while still only running at HALF of his potential. And of course, the H stuff is great - both the one time events and the repeatable scenes. Not to mention that, being a maiesiophile, the future promise of inclusion of the more serious consequences of s*x is the irresistible cherry on top for me. It's so good that I actually can't see a single flaw in it - and that's quite a rarity for me. There are only two things I noticed that COULD be improved on - and neither would require a rewrite of past events to be applied. So if you actually intended to include those ideas anyway, just see them as yet another proof that you're doing things right. For one, the story of Kana (who might be my favourite character so far) is great on all levels, but when I played the confrontation between her, her mother and the MC one thought that struck me was: "I'd pick Kana over her mom even if I was an ardent believer in the breeding cult." Why is that? Because there's more to breeding - the act of welcoming and nourishing new life - than the bodily functions and assets required for executing the most basic necessities of it to perfection. The sole thing Kana's mother was at least rudimentarily right about was the notion that everyone must have a place in the world. But she - and their clan as a whole - failed to understand that one's place in the world isn't something that can be assigned to you, but something that you must FIND. Sure, it's easier and less complicated for all involved if a person can simply fill a vacant, predetermined role and be satisfied with that. But if that's not the case you have to look for and carve out your own unique place. Teaching your children the skills and helping them cultivate the strength of body, mind and heart that help them do just that is the pinnacle of parenting, which in turn is the culmination of breeding. And while Kana might not be the best concerning the physical qualities of breeding, in terms of mind and heart she's INFINITELY more fit than her mother and clan who think it's fine to abandon a child simply because they don't fit in the image you have of the world. In other words: The wolf clan as a whole seems to have forgotten half of the qualities that constitute breeding whorship and foolishly kicked out a girl that could've stirred them back in a better direction. I imagine telling Kana this - i.e. if the MC told her that he would've picked her over her mother even if he didn't know Kana and would only be concerned with breeding and that it's actually her mother and clan as a whole who aren't truly serving their faith - would do wonders for Kana's self-esteem and make for a touching love scene. Just a thought. Second, while I think the whole story about Roxy in both (presumed) future and present is very interesting and beautiful in an occasional tragic way, I literally cringed when Annie (or was it the MC? I don't rightly recall) told her that "the milk must've gone bad on its own." People, lying to kids is literally one of the worst parenting mistakes one can make. In order to grow up well and wholesome, children need both love and all around nourishment as well as the education about actions AND consequences of said actions. The kicker is that, when growing up without abuse, children usually WANT to be taught responsibility and the right way to handle themselves, and that was definitely the case with young Roxy: She was distraught about what happened with the milk and wanted to know if she did this, and presumably how she could prevent this happening in the future. The right action in this situation would be to console her by saying she didn't do anything that couldn't be fixed, that no one was mad at her, and to explain how it happened in a way that she could understand. Instead the group told her, not out of genuine care for her (although they likely thought it was) but due to their own unwillingness to see her sad for a few hours or days, that what happened had nothing to do with her, lied to her. What will youngRoxy learn from this? She'll keep on handling milk the way she did, deduce that milk is weird and either stop helping with it completely or get frustrated with it happening time and again, and look for the cause (and fault) in places and people where it doesn't lie. In order to grow and mature children NEED honesty, people. Gentle and careful honesty, yes. But honesty nevertheless. There was a real life case where the parents of a little girl couldn't stand seeing her cry AT ALL, so whenever she did they'd keep on telling her that it wasn't her fault - regardless what actually happened - until she stopped. Growing up, the child deduced that this meant she was NEVER wrong, and that whenever something upset her, it was everyone else who was to blame. Which resulted in an adult sociopath. Considering adultRoxy thinks it's a funny game not only to be shot at by tanks but also that to strike the shells back at them and effectively killing humans in return is fun, it gets me thinking... The same mistaken dishonesty is present in the MC's interaction with adultRoxy in a different way as well. For example, I don't get why, when Roxy mentioned having heard that one baseball team "slaughtered" the other he couldn't just say that they only meant that as a figure of speech, and then explain to her what a "figure of speech" is. There's a difference between protecting someone and stunting their growth to protect your own feelings. And you can be corrective without being confrontational. Sorry if that second part sounded rant-like, but few things get me going (not in THAT way) like things like this. And I really hope that, in future updates, the players will have the option of applying gentle honesty to both versions of Roxy. This game is a true gem. And while I can't contribute much right now, I promise to change that as soon as I'm able to. Please keep at it!
