BUGFIX FOR 0.8.3 UPDATE

As mentioned at the top of the post, the bugfixed versions are already out - they were released over twelve hours ago, actually :) Just head to the 0.8.3a release post (right below this one) and download.

to be fair, it isn't that the baby of Pixie is birthed by Kana, its that getting Pixie pregnant results in Pixie *and* Kana being pregnant (even while my kid with Kana is in the nursery)

No need to start again - sending the dimension-altering baby to Aritfact should cause it to disappear, and then you can get your previous kid back. Also, there are autosaves under the "A" section of the Load menu which might have saves from before the strange shenanigans. Failing ALL of that, send me your save along with the name of the Kana kid you want and I'll reset the necessary variables :) The game very deliberately doesn't touch on why humans don't react to Pixie - players are free to interpret magical shenanigans or just that Pixie's very good at hiding. Humans CAN see Fey, though (the Farmer saw both Annie and Morgana, for example) and there are numerous little hints throughout the game about the measures Morgana has taken and some potential underlying politics. For the most part, though, I don't try to explain it because it would just unnecessarily complicate matters and open up contradictions and issues :)

It's not just that Kana could get pregnant ...she could get pregnant when there was already one child of hers in the daycare - which shouldn't be possible at all - and once the child is born, the little kid in the daycare is referred to by the name of the child that was JUST born. And when the baby has her growth spurt, it just kinda ...merges with its older counterpart. Basically, it's like the new baby pushed her older sibling out of this dimension by herself, and then replaced it with a clone of her own future self until she could take their place. That's one scary baby... I really hope this fix also works retroactively, because I'm not quite sure I have a save from before I started trying to impregnate Pixie. It'd suck to need to start the game all over again. P.S.: One thing I noticed that's confusing me a little. Initially, I thought that ordinary humans couldn't see faye. But come to think of it, Alice could see Pixie just fine, and no one acted like that was anything special. Does the MC and other "special" humans act like some kind of signal enhancer (i.e. since he exists in the "human" plane as well as that of the faye, those who interact with him get so close to the "human" reality that bystanders become able to perceive them) or am I simply misremembering?

I can't say I blame Kana. After being told she's "defective" for so long, and finding a mate who shows her she's not, she's bursting with maternal energy--especially after birthing her first pup. She's not malicious in her greed; she just wants more puppies!

Kid events will be added in over time, have no fear! I'm trying not to let the pregnancy updates dominate the content too much because there's a decent chunk of players who have no interest in the system and I don't want them to feel left out :) I do have some fun things in mind, though, so I hope you enjoy them when they're released!

Your going to need to add an option to play with the kid soon. I don't need the visual It fine if it just fades to black for now. But like with Annie I feel kind of like a jerk that I don't spend time with the kids.
