2020-10-13 22:44:41 +0000 UTCI don't think the mafia is finished, the ten dons are just the most powerful ones, new ones will fill in their roles, and it's not like the Troupe was aiming to exterminate them, it just so happened to be the best way to get their hands on the auctioned treasures at the time. The Troupe definitively follows the trope of "ruthless, not homicidal" / the (selfish) ends justify the (violent) means villains (well on the bigger scale, not true for some members), so the mafia should be free to rebuild if they don't go for revenge.
