Funny enough, this piece was actually inspired by a specific moment in the show when Rainbowdash pushes Flutters forward trying to get her to do a task she's nervous about. That ended up turning into this gymnastic pose that leaves Flutters vulnerable to attack!
That attack being a very talented tongue of course~

I wanted to make Rainbowdash an aero-dynamics-focused pony with a design that compliments that! Obviously her hair is a little *large* for wanting to go as fast as possible, BUT I also wanted to give her a "scene-girl" look from the early 2000's. If you're curious on how I came to that conclusion, look up Rainbowdash cosplay 2000 and you'll immediately be met with the overwhelming answer lol!

These references have turned out to be a lot of fun! The making of Applejack involved basically thinking of the word "Big" and rolling with it. In the end she ended up being the BIGGEST other than Pinkie, but I'm pretty proud of how different their bodies look despite their similar sizes!

One thing those more perceptive among you might notice is that one of the panels on this page used to be flipped! This was actually a mistake on my part; I mis-remembered where the door actually was relative to the hallway and managed to make it on the other side. Fun times, but thankfully I was able to check back and make the correction before disaster.
