John Lennon was my hero as a child. I idolized him. But I also have to contend with the reality that he might've been a huge asshole. Using my patented (non-patented) asshole chart, I look back on my childhood, on Lennon's life, and do my best to reconcile my feelings about him. Yes! Ren is back! Well, he's always been here. And this is basically a cover of a song I used to listen to back in the day, possibly one you'e heard sampled, and yet it's still a song that is entirely his own. Ren has created his own version here, and it's pretty amazing how craftily he is able to recognize his reggae roots in this song. I hope you enjoy!
