Creating 3D models takes a long time. But there's nothing more satisfying than being able to manipulate the toy you took time to create afterwards ;)
As the story mode progress, I'll add more and more custom animation to be sure that characters feels unique.

IFSCL lighting model is a quite important subject on which I already iterated a lot.
Like many 'anime' style cartoons, angular head design provides tricky patterns to work with on a shading level.
Long story short, it's easy to get something ugly, especially if your character design isn't made of spheres...
So I've implemented a first version of the lighting model in current IFSCL (...
It was a huge series, with work on no less than 4 characters!
