Menat shoes complete

Made a pair of Menats strappy sandals! I took a pair of sandals and opened up the sole to sandwich the base fabric pieces inside. The top band is the support while I stitched the pieces as the crossed each other for good tension so they won't fall down. The bells jingles so much I can't wait to wear it out and make so much noise haha.

Menat's hood

I am very proud of how the hood came out. I used the hood portion from a Kigarumi pattern for the shape and extended the fabric out to a point for the neck. The black cotton is interfaced with a medium weight iron on fabric so that it could support the ears and gold applique. Wig styled

I went with a epic cosplay wig and I've never tried this company before. I'm very glad I used them because the wig has so much movement that I normally dont get with Arda wigs (Arda is my favorite) I used a flat iron very carefully to get the fibers to lay straight down and used a pair of hairdresser shears to cut the bang straight across and also shorter in the back. The black band applied beautifully with the gold bias tape! <3 got a big bell from Joanns and made ribbon out of casa satin with lightweight interfacing. She has a uneven amount of ribbon looping on her chest and it bothers me haha. Does it look crooked to you? 😂

Over the flu!

I came down with the flu but better to be out and about! So I got a little over zealous last night and made her skirt already haha. The fabric was a hunter green that leaned more toward a yellow tint and the my hero academia green is so specific of a deep teal free. So I decided to dye it.
