(Sorry for the spam) I'm very very sick with a cold but I will be able to update progress in between sleeping/resting. I made a custom bodice from half of a modded dress pattern using yaya han's 4 way stretch metallic red cosplay fabric. I used a heavier 4 way stretch cotton blend fabric for the lining and satin stitched the pressed seams so it wouldn't show under the very thing metallic fabric. The top of the red fabric sits right at the bust and will connect to the black and gold band. I draped her skirt (had to redo it to adjust it lower on my hips. I'm not perfect) and sewed it on with a zig-zag stitch for stretch! I'm really excited to continue on this costume. I'm really loving making this in all of its imperfections and I just want to say THANK YOU for helping me make this possible! 😽
