This is our focus video for October. A really fun quick piece to draw using just a black polychromos. I would suggest you don't swap out for a different brand as this pencil is great when you use the eraser to take out highlights.
It's approx 18cm and I've done mine on Derwent Lightfast hot press paper. You can choose any hot press paper you like :)
The full video is in just this on...

These are are tiny! Don't feel you need to add tonnes of details as they are hardly visible and aren't the main focus of the piece.
Keep the edge of the ear fuzzy - add in a bit of colour to the edge to show the light coming through and make sure your darks are really dark :)

Part 1, starting on the background at the top. If you just want to see how I've created the background then this and the final part are all about the bokeh. Using pure pencils, no blending spirits or pastels.
I've used Pastelmat board for this one - purely because of the background. I've used lots of pencils - if you don't have what I have used don't worry - choose colours you have. I wou...

Now I know we've done a hare before - but it wasn't a detailed one, more painterly, and I want to get really into the details of the fur, so I found this absolutely adorable little leveret from Sue Cross Wildlife, and we're going to draw this one for our full tutorial in October :) I'll include some of the grass at the bottom but not the whole background. I haven't yet decided on a surface to d...

A reminder of the codes you can use when purchasing a projector
Use my code IMPACTBSNOWDON for £10 off. The Pico 2 has been selling particularly well and is now out of the offer price, so you might be better going with the 1 or the 3 - and they work the same way.
