Making a start on Rosa's beautiful face - this is a different type of technique when you're layering, as it's much more subtle than on her neck area.
The layers are fewer, and I've left gaps in between to help with the flecking of her coat.

This is part of the main tutorial but I’m drawing again super sized!! Means I can get all the detail in - lots of techniques just in this noseband - getting your paper super smooth with loads of layers - using white over dark colours to get the gorgeous shine, creating realistic looking stitches and metal work 😊

There are so many elements to April’s tutorial. Layering to create short hair, leather work, long hair and tiny details - and the focus video will be an enlarged version of the leather work so we can get all the tiny details in 😊 you can see the first layer on the neck - another 4/5 layers and it will look so different.
