I have set up a private group for anyone wanting to join the focus group and discuss the new socity/association or whatever we want to call it.
My thoughts so far are that it's a society across the globe as we are all from different countries and areas, and that it is inclusive and doesn't have ridiculous rules.
There are so many of us who want to exhibit but are restricted by...

These five photos I have permission to use as tutorials for you all. What else would you like to see? I am trying to source another horse that is dark in colour, plus another cat and dog. Please list below what you'd like as a tutorial and I will try to source good photos, or take my own if I can. Please don't use the above photos for your own work outside of my patreon unless you have express ...

The whole of the background is in real time, however I have only voiced over the first 50 minutes as the final hour and a bit is just exactly the same process. I show you the colours I use as I use them. You'll see that the neopastels go down quite sketchy to begin with - it's best to add all your colours first before blending - I discovered that as I was going through the piece. Once you've go...

You'll be using the slice tool a little more in this section. If you need any help with the slice - it takes some getting used to - hold it upside down in your hand, and then tilt it slightly to the right and use the back part of the blade to gently scrape away the pigment.

More fluffiness! The ears have the fluffy white floofs of hair going over them. All I can say is watch the video, tell yourself you can do it and then do it :)

Ok, here it is - well the start of it! Little Fluffy Bunny on drafting film.
The ref, line art and the materials list are below for you. The size of the drawing is approximately 10x10" . Any problems let me know.
Don't be scared of the subtlety - it's hard to see sometimes the colours going down because they are so light - but that's a good indication - if your colours are goi...

Honestly this has to be one of the most fun projects I’ve done! There’s no stress, I’ve kept things simple and I think you’re going to love drawing this gorgeous little mouse - even if you just have a go at the berries - they’re speedy and just a joy to draw! From a fabulous photo by Edward Payne photography 🥰 I’ll start to upload videos on the 2nd March

I posted last week about starting a new society/group/association. Anyone who is interested in joining a focus group or who wants to be really involved please add your name below.
I can then set up a private group, probably in facebook where we can start to discuss things.

A huge huge thank you for everyone who entered the exhibition - as you know we decided as a collective to donate the entry fees to the Australian Bush Fire Appeal and raised £650!
Well as promised, here are the winners! I've attached a pdf document so that you can read about the judges, read what the judges have said about the winners and see the winning pieces.

Loved drawing this gorgeous little bunny! He’ll be uploaded around the 2nd March, full length, voice over as usual. Drafting film, polychromos, luminance and drawings but you can use what ever pencils you have 🥰

I thought seeing as we have a really cute main tutorial, it would be nice to have something cute for the focus as well. This will be a relatively speedy tutorial, focusing on softness and white fur - I'm going to do it on drafting film as minimal layers works so well - plus the lovely texture will work fabulously :)

I’ve been toying with starting a new society for coloured pencils/animals and think it could be amazing. No idea how it wood work but who would be interested in starting something with me? It will be challenging I know, but it would me amazing, friendly, kind and supportive. What do you think?

I know I still have March's to draw, but this is a workshop piece so I needed to get it finished. This will be the full tutorial in April, complete with the background :)
It was such a lovely one to draw and the background was really fun - bears no resemblance to the photo but I thought that didn't really matter as it's easier to make things like this up.
I'll pop up a materia...

I'm delighted to let you know that I am now an Ambassador for Caran D'Ache in the UK, this will mean that I will be demoing for them where they need me to, that I will be able to purchase from them at a discounted price, and that I will be party to new products before they go on general release - and I have to say there is something rather exciting around the corner!!!!! I may well have a few b...

I've scheduled the Q&A for this Sunday at 5pm, hopefully this will allow most people to be able to join - weekends seemed to be the best time.
If you have any questions, please send them through to bonny.snowdon@gmail.com and label them February Q&A.

I'm aware that all the live sessions I create kind of suit me, but may not be a time that you can join me.
Could you therefore add in the comments your time zone and what time you would like the live sessions, I will then try to accommodate as best I can.

Very short bonus video for you. Sometimes the ref photos we get are lovely but the colours just are way off. This one you can see that it's really blue - and of course with black fur, we do have a tendency to be a little too blue most of the time (you're told time and time again don't use black, use blues and reds - but then inevitably what happens, and I've done it myself, you end up with a bl...
