The closing date for the competition is tomorrow, so if you have some last minute entries, please do upload them.
The entire proceeds of the entry fees will be being donated to the Bush Fire Crisis, I won't be taking any of the funds to pay for the competition web page so we should have a good amount to donate which is amazing :)
Some of you may be wondering who the judges are...

For the $5 tier I will be doing this lovely white on black dog nose and muzzle, I'm going to do it quite big to get the details in, and will either use Fabriano black black or black mount board. The $10 tier will be the Lorikeet - he's almost finished and the colours are just gorgeous! He's been done on drafting film.

Prints, in particular merchandise is something I have on my plan but have never got round to doing.
Laura Pennell, an artist local to me who I have been coaching is really getting her business off the ground and has very kindly written the below article for you all - just in case you're thinking of going down a similar route.
You can find Laura's work on facebook: 2020-01-20 16:30:26 +0000 UTC

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I would create a video for you showing how to create a facebook advert that will help you with your marketing.
Here it is :)
Facebook ads are really useful, they aren't a fail safe however, you need to incorporate them, if you want to, into your marketing strategy.
I am not an expert on facebook adverts, I have used them though and I do think t...

Hi all, the attached spreadsheet has the links to all the tutorials, some may be able to click and the link opens, or you may need to copy and paste the link. You can also find links from my website.
Once the exhibition is over I will be moving over to my new website - well hopefully mid February - where it will be much easier to find the tutorials.

Morning all. I’m aware that there are some glitches on the site. These are down to me making changes yesterday morning with my web developer. I’m really sorry about all the issues you’ve had, it will be resolved this morning.
The reason I wanted to change the settings was because I wanted every one to have equal chance, sadly some have abused the ability to vote multiple...

There is still time to enter into the Patreon only Exhibition and competition over on my website. I've had some fantastic entries so far and people are getting really behind the voting which is fab. This is an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your artwork through an online gallery, donate to help the people and animals devastated by the bush fires in Australia, and bag a prize as well.<...

OK Everyone. I have an idea, and I want to put it to you.
The money that has been paid into the exhibition - how would you feel about me donating the whole amount to the Australian Bushfire appeal?
We would still have winners, and you will receive certificates, but instead of a monetary prize, I would give my time for one to one coaching, drawing practice or anything else you would ...

I'm opening this up to all my Patrons - it's a focus video already available, but I'm having to re-draw him and take proper step by step photos as he's going to be a published step by step article in a magazine.
So I wondered if anyone was around, if you wanted to join me at 7pm GMT - it should only take around an hour to get to this stage and a little further. I'm going to create i...

I'm doing a workshop in March, drawing horses on drafting film, which of course will be a tutorial as well. So which one of these would you prefer? I'm thinking the foal I'd create the background as well, but just love that big old Shire :) Both from pixabay.
