Things are going well on the Tay - if not a little slow. I thought the first 26miles to loch Tay would take a max of 5 days. I’m writing this on the morning of day 7 and I’m only just over half way - distance wise. But the river has opened up now and there’s a chance I’ll reach the loch by this evening.

Hello all!

The next adventure is source to sea down the longest river in Scotland - The River Tay! It’s around 120miles, so a fair bit shorter than the Thames, but what it lacks in length it makes up for in wildness! The rapids on this river are like nothing I’ve tackled before and saying I’m apprehensive about them would be an understatement.

With just two videos of the Thames series left to edit and release I’ve been beginning pondering which river I should take on next. While I do have a couple of potential candidates in mind, before I share these I’d be very interested to receive your input. Which river would you like to see me tackle?

Thames Series Update

Since returning from the Thames life has been a little hectic, but the edit of the series is now in full flow. As usual I definitely overshot, capturing over 100 hour of material, all of which I've been slowing wading through with the aim of cutting the final runtime of the series down to around 3 hours.

That’s it! 674km over 20 days of riding! The weather didn’t make it easy on this final day, but the allure of the finish was too strong not to push for the border. So, can I unicycle across a country using only hiking trails? I guess I can!
