It is finally complete: Nangalore.
The map in the book is a little weird as it doesn't always follow the descriptions in the box text, so I've decided to follow the box text.
This was a hefty inkarnate file... perhaps my largest. If my maths is right, something like 7871 objects (before it got imported into Photoshop where I added all the custom bits and pieces).
I've al...

Great news everyone. The Foundry VTT map pack "Tor's Omu" has been approved and is now live on Foundry's service. It was put together by Friend of the Emporium, the kind and generous Grimmash, whose built all my Foundry content, notably the Tomb of the Nine Gods.
It includes all the maps I've made for Omu, 15 in total (The Nine Shrines, The Fane, Bag of Nails' ambush site...

Hey everyone. *wave*
Up next is Nangalore!
I've been looking forward to making this map for a while and now is the time. My group never went there (despite all the carrots and sticks! chuckle) and so it has been criminally missing from the line up. Expect it to be up by the end of the month.
Thereafter...

A tile overlay pack for the the Wongo Shrine. It swaps the location of the vulture and zebra masks from my first map (which was incorrectly positioned). I've also included a "no mask tile" so you can overlay whatever animals masks you want in whatever position.
There are 8 animal masks in total: Feline, Porcine, Equine, Avian, Formicine (ant-like), Ranine (Frog-like), Serpentine, Simian.&...

An 8x8 tile for the entrance to the Tomb of the Nine Gods, in the unfortunate event the players destroy/topple over/attack the Black Obelisk containing the Nalfeshnee demon.
At the first crack in the obsidian, have the Obelisk explode outward releasing the demon's aura which immediately kills the nearby vegetation, emitting an ungodly odour of burnt bodies and sweet rotting flesh... or......

Hello all you wonderful GMs.
So I've been deep in the pixels making all the maps for the Adventurer's League final module of its Broken Chain Series, Turn Back the Endless Night and I still have some more to do. We're about two thirds of the way there, I reckon I'll be wrapping the last map by the following weekend (just over a week from now). What's fun about them is tha...

This little 11pg pdflet is meant to help spark your player's imaginations in their next Session Zero. It has helped my players to form a tight knit group of adventurers with interesting backstories and connections they may have not chosen otherwise. While this is brand spanking new and shiny with many more options than I have ever had in a previous campaign, I've used similar tab...

Various parts of the roof of Unkhs' shrine was made in Midjourney with lots of photoshop. The rest is all Inkarnate, Photoshop and layers of textures.

I use Midjourney. Not for every little thing on this Patreon, but where it makes sense to do so, I do. I understand that this may not be to everyone's tastes — and well, you're free to obviously not use my stuff. While it is still legal to do so, I will continue paying them to use their AI.
That said, I would prefer to use the tool as ethically as I can and I so I pledge the follo...

Grimmash and I were waiting on developing any D&D map modules for Foundry while WOTC was considering clamping down on creator's freedoms. Little point in doing hours of work to only have it pulled off the VTT a week later. Happily, that future has not come to pass with WOTC's announcement on Friday of putting the SRD 5.1 into Creative Commons, leaving the OGL1.0a as is and importantly leavi...

I've been playing around with Midjourney from about October 2022 and I'm steadily finding more things it can be used for. This is due to my ability to prompt and Midjourney's improving algorithm. Initially it was just fantasy landscapes of Port Nyanzaru or a Jungle scene (which are admittedly quite rough and gestural), or another style of location art for my TotEM location cards. All quite expe...

The first year of my fledgling Patreon is in the bag. I found, lost and re-found my creative rhythm. I learnt a lot about how to make maps, finally wrote down my TotEM idea, added MidJourney to my creative process and am incredibly enthused to make 2023 even better; in terms of content, output and variety. Trying to see how I can get more time to make stuff.
