Crypt of the Nakedancer

Finally finished this mod for 'Crypt of the Necrodancer'.

Simple, yet complex sprite edits for Cadence including various palette swaps, three from the vanilla game [left] and four of my own making [right].

Bonus included, the 'Clone' enemy.

Patreon is changing how they process payments and sometimes they're required to collect sales tax base on your individual locations in the world.

As far as I know, my tiers and rewards do not yet qualify for sales tax currently so nothing should change for us right now.

...well, 'very fast' for me right now. Took me about five hours(?) to get this much done, I think.

Maybe "very rough" would be more apt. I just wanted to try to do some quick perspective, gesture, and dynamic posing. Plus, I've been trying to do this particular pose for a while now.

Carla is Jui's best friend, or, rather, would like to be. She's energetic and fashion-conscious (when she's wearing clothes, that is). She works at the same crappy diner Jui does. When Jui is driven into the woods, chance and a good deal of conscious decision-making has Carla follow her out.

I did a few other characters early last year, BRUSHFIRE and SUDSY, based on the old GameBoy Color palettes that were swapped into default, non-Color GB games. I wanted to draw another, so here she is :)

Jui - Design Lockdown

The word "final" really gets thrown around a lot, especially when you're still learning or have no idea what you're doing.

So instead, I'm considering this design locked down. I could improve it, sure, but I'm sticking with this design and have rendered the rest of the cast in this style. Once those are done, we're moving on to basic animations.
