It's really wild how much pressure there is on everyone really, to somehow make all of their life marketable entertainment. You can't have just a hobby, you've got to stream your hobby and market your hobby and monetize your hobby. Which is a totally fine thing to do, if you feel like it. Sharing the things you love with others is a very human thing to do.

January 2024 Pinup - Sending Out a Memo

It was a real fight to narrow all the great suggestions down to just a handful of sketches, and the Life Guard Patrons clearly spoke. They wanted more office shenanigans!

This one was so fun to do. It's so cheeky and playful. I really really like it. Though I fought with those heels for way longer than I had hoped for. Shoes! Complicated fucking shapes. XD

Gauntlight Characters Colored

Finished up those character drawings I started the other week. These came out super mooody, and I love them. It was a fantastic experiment to really push myself with using heavy blackwork. It's nice to know I have some range when I stretch myself.

The Nest

One of the things I enjoy about running RPGs now vs when I ran RPGs as a teen is that I can MAKE my own damn resources now. I grew up playing theater of the mind style games, rarely did we even have maps. We kept that shit in our heads like savages.

But now! Now when I want to paint a scene for players, I can literally do that. Not for every moment, of course. Too much of a game is wingin...

The Gauntlight

I'm doing some drawings for a friend's RPG and I decided to really let myself embrace the black shadows for these. I am so incredibly pleased with how these are coming along. They're going to be absolutely amazing when they're done.

Glory Bowl pages 32-34

The final pages of Glory Bowl! Or at least the final pages I’m working on. This was a fascinating and delightful comic to work on, and I’m very grateful I got the chance.

As I understand the author (my client) is working on a second chapter and I’ll let you guys know where to find more of it when I know.
