It did make sense in the end, it was the only place to go. I still don't think I could watch it again, at least not soon. But well done for sure.

2023-11-15 23:48:19 +0000 UTCfirst time I saw it I thought same thing about killing off Adrian, but when you look back at it, it was the right decision storywise to see how he would cope without her in his life. At the time it was a great send off for the character and a great last speech he tells his kid. I also liked how he was portrayed in the Creed movies as well.
