Deep within the ancient woods lays the remains of the Elven Astrological Observatory. Though the pillar at the center may have fallen, there still remains a glow of power and a hum of magic echoing around the observatory.

Departing from Solace gives a wonderful view of the Valenwood trees that mark the landscape and even more of the bridges that tie the village together. Ahead are the plains of Abanansinia which allows a variety of dangers ahead.

Deep within the woods, far from the workshops, is the land of the Wendigo. It is here that the fabled monsters hunt-- though there are more than just Wendigo that stalk these deadly woods. Few will survive, but if the hunt for Christmas is to continue, then this place must be passed through as quickly as possible.

In Solace, the town square is a place to congregate on the ground and mingle amidst different vendors. It's a bustling area where you can find much of what you're looking for and potentially run into some interesting people while you're there.

When you're making your way along the outside of the town of Solace, you can see how the town is built into the massive Valenwood Trees to keep it safe from the ground. Only a few few buildings are actually built upon the ground itself-- and besides the Blacksmith, you want to avoid those places. Tree bridges hang between the mighty Valenwood and provide an easy way to move around above anyone ...

Deep within Hoodoo Canyon, elevations play a crucial role in any conflict that might arise. For some passing through, it can prove dangerous if you're not aware of where a would be attacker may be hiding. For those who retreat here however, a turn of fortune can be made to assail your pursuers.

After enjoying a filling meal of potatoes, it's probably time to turn in for the night. If you're lucky enough to not have to escape through the kitchen of course! Featuring several comfortable rooms, the Inn of the Last Home is a wonderful place to stay the night.

Deep within the swamps you wouldn't expect to find a small shack would you? Would it raise concerns? Perhaps you'd avoid going there? Or... would you be thrust into the hunger for satiate curiosity and wander straight inside. A fateful mistake for many-- but for a group of adventurers, it might just pay off. What wonders will you find inside if you defeat the hag? You'll have to survive first.....

A beautiful inn tucked into the massive branches of a Valenwood Tree, this is Solace. This is where the story of Dragonlance begins! Here you'll need to speak with Otik to get some of his famous spiced potatoes and spend some time talking with the waitress Tika. If you're lucky, a befuddled old man might even come and tell you tales of Huma Dragonbane and of days long past. Do be wary however, ...

The remnants of a Dwarven Outpost deep in the mountains. Attacked or abandoned, it is hard to tell what may have happened here. Though the outpost has clearly been ransacked and occupied by bandits, there are no signs of the Dwarves that once lived here.

In Krad there is a lone temple which marks the long forgotten age to when the gods were worshiped here. Long left destitute, the floors being to peel back to reveal the clockwork mechanisms which lay beneath. Krad-- a city built on top of something that was there long before even the Dwarves began to work the earth.

Sometimes nature and civilization collide and the results are never good for either. Spoiled by war and conflict, whoever lived here may have been long forgotten as their structures continue to crumble. The land however has not forgotten, scarred from the very things that brought the civilization to ruin.

Sorry about not having a map out last week, I've been in the hospital for a while but I'm recovering.
Enter the city of Krad, a home to the Daergar Dwarves who avoid the sun any chance that they get. Driven down into the depths of this chasm, there are things that hunt above yet there is something here that protects the Dwarves. Safety and seclusion, all things that make Krad an interest...

Deep in the Garnet Mountains, there was once a Dwarven Hold that held reverie for those inside. Thought to be well protected, it would not turn out that way when Orcish invaders found a way inside. Sadly, the hold would fall, sending the Dwarves down deeper-- founding the dark dwarven city of Krad.

Deep in the forest, long forgotten even by Elves, lay Memorial Ruins that have long since been remembered. It is not often that the even Elves do not see a place long enough that they might forget, or perhaps this was a group of Elves that moved to a different area. Still, an incredible find.

For those who can afford a measly 100 gold to rent out a stall in the market, they are also given a place to stay for the month their vendor's license is valid. Of course, you can only expect to have a stall when they become available, usually later in the day when someone else has sold their goods and left. Still-- it gets you inside Lemish. One of the safest cities around because, it's alread...

In a place once known as Tarsis the Beautiful, located once at the outstretched regions of the Plains of Dust, is now a dreary landlocked city. Tarsis still holds the name, but it's moniker of the Beautiful has long since passed. When the cataclysm struck, Tarsis became a landlocked city, losing its harbor and finding itself now in the frigid thralls of winter.

Lemish has allied itself with some rather unsavory groups, allowing camps of Ogres, Goblins, and Daergar Dwarves to setup outside their walls. These groups, allies of the Draognarmies, will be used in whatever war campaign occurs next. Though they may reside outside of Lemish's walls, that does not mean they look favorably upon humans.

For those lucky enough to be allowed within the walls of Lemish, you might find yourself able to sell whatever you brought at a severe discount in the slum markets. Booths here are hard to come by though and the early morning time slots are reserved for only those who can afford to pay a bit higher of a price. Still-- it gets you inside, for the time being.

Living off the scraps of what comes out of the city in the hopes that someday, they might have a chance to live inside. Of course-- you can sell your products for a price inside the city! Have to earn that spot first however and some farmers will scrimp and save to earn a seat at the market...

The path into Lemish is one that only those who's hearts are warped by greed should ever try to enter. Though your party may have their own motives, perhaps there is much to learn about the enemy by traveling inside the gates. Just be wary-- this is a place where coin rules above all and the dragonarmies are profit.
