What is a playtest?

This is a test session where the participants are monitored and questioned in order to improve the game with this feedback.

How long is the playtest session?

From July 30th to August 8th
So 9 days including 2 weekends.

What will be tested?

You will test the multiplayer synchronization and core game mechanics.

Can we share screenshots and videos of the test?

No, you will be under a strict non disclosure agreement and no information about this test shall be shared outside of the Alpha-Test channel of our Discord Server.

How to give feedback?

- We will share a questionnaire at the end of the paytest, please answer it as it helps us make statistics.
- Special channels have been created on our discord server to discuss issues with us directly. You will be assigned a special role to access them.

What kind of feedback is Steel Balalaika interested in?

- We’re most interested in bugs. To help us resolve them, try to give us context when you face a crash or a freeze. To understand why a bug appears is to solve it.
- Pay attention to multiplayer desynchronization. It is a situation where things happen differently from one computer to another. Then the way to spot them is usually to share your screen with your opponent and compare.
