I need suggestions for a new series

Alright. ReZero is on hiatus until Feb 5th (probably more Feb 15th for me personally), and Arcane is kind of a packaged deal. Obviously we are going into season 2 right after season 1.

We still need to wrap up the last Spice and Wolf episodes and JJK eventually, but those are not very popular on my channel so they are low priority.

Now that we have so many free and paid members assembled atm, I want all of you to make suggestions for me for what is supposed to replace Arcane when we finish Season 2. We will probably finish it in February right around or shortly after ReZero comes back, so we will have a slot for a weekly or maybe bi-weekly show to replace it. And I want your input before I eventually create a poll about it here and on Youtube.

Anime, western show, anything goes. It should maybe not be a slow-paced series like Monster and Texhnolyze. Those two are old series that don't get that much attention. And although I love reacting to them, I think we have enough of these shows at the current time, at least till Texhnolyze is finished.

So either an older very popular classic masterpiece (Think EVA, KLK, S;G, etc. - something people are still excited about today) or a newer more modern series that has been popular lately. If possible nothing like Gintama that has a million seasons. I have some of these shows on my list and might eventually react to them (Gintama, HxH, Bojack, etc.) but I think I rather react to them once I have more reach and maybe in the slot that we currently have Monster/Texhnolyze sitting in.

Thanks for any suggestion coming in. Even the ones that I can't use for this particular slot I will definitely keep in mind for future polls. And do not get discouraged if you suggest something and I have already watched it. I have been watching a lot of anime before I started out being a reactor, so it's definitely possible that this happens in some cases!

Go check my Anilist profile to see what I have watched already, but keep in mind that I have not updated it with the stuff I have seen in the last 1-2 years (esp. since I started reactions) and that there are series I have watched that I have failed to put into my profile.

all good, Arcane still got a decent runtime, whever wins this slot is gonna be on polls in Jan/Feb and reactions will probably be in Feb or a bit later.

DoroHeDoro, it's only 12 episodes but it's pretty action packed and the world is so cool and unique. I hope i'm not too late to recommend an anime.

Gnaw Maker

Have seen Madoka. Shaft is probably my favorite animation studio. But I'm looking forward to reacting to Walpurgisnacht Rising.

Unfortunately I have seen Tutu (with Teeaboo, shoutout). Gintama will have to be a long-term goal maybe. Ik a lot of people like it, but I kind of categorize it into Monster when it comes to probable popularity. That + it being a super long show make it more of a candidate for possibly following up the Monster / Texhnolyze slot once those two shows are done imo.

I have seen Fate/Zero and Stay Night UBW so Garden of Sinners is an interesting idea. Wanted to see Suzume for a while, tho I need to check ofc how much of it I can show on YT. Also had Dungeon Meshi as a a candidate for a future watch. I love Trigger.

It is quite a lot of work. I will get part/act 3 to you around (at/after) christmas. s2 in January. I'm aiming for every 14-17 days. But patreon does get it as soon as I have it available ofc, so might be a bit earlier than that.

Precures series

Kagami Vessel

Mushoku tensei anime would be a fun one, especially from the perspective of a psych student due to the nature of the main character and how he evolves.

I need the rest of arcane asap 🫠🫠

I know you love your analyzation so I think Kara no Kyoukai (Garden of Sinners) would be a perfect fit. It's technically part of the fate universe but it is its own thing so no need to know the intricate lore of the Nasuverse going in. It has faster pace like you asked and is decently popular too. It's 8 (+2) movies long and is a perfect fit for a bi-weekly schedule. I can also help with the order stuff too :) I'll also throw in a couple other ideas. -Suzume no Tojimari (or just Suzume for short) is a nice Makoto Shinkai movie with a beautiful soundtrack. -Kanata no Astra (ASTRA: Lost In Space) is a nice discussion generating mystery. It's a one and done single cour show too. It's also the show where Teeaboo's :tinfoil: emote comes from. -Paripi Koumei (Ya Boy Kongming) is not really action but it's another shorter really nice show and a different vibe from what you've had going on the channel so far. Music. -Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi (The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace) is a VERY unique anime with a trippy and experimental animation style and very fast plot and action going on. -Dungeon Meshi (Delicious in Dungeon) was a recent popular anime. Very DnD coded. Also it's more than just a meal of the week (think monster of the week trope).

Ping pong the animation

For series, Gintama or Princess Tutu r my highest recs

Cania345

On that note the movie redline is another must watch

Cania345

The movie Mind Game would be an awesome choice, would only be one reaction ofc instead of a full series.

Oh mb, the Rebuilds wouldn't be a bad idea. Have you seen Madoka Magica? If you haven't, I feel that would be really popular and good for channel. The AniList link doesn't work for me for whatever reason, so I can't check if you've seen or not

Mhycoal

have watched both although I think I could go for an EVA rewatch at some point ngl. And I haven't watched the Rebuilds

TerminuS

S;G or Evangelion would be a great idea in my opinion! I'd love to see either tbh
