1970's technology that was ahead of its time

Denver from Australia sent us some vintage slugs made in Czechoslovakia.  These were probably made around 1975,  give or take a couple years.

Enjoy the early viewing.  I am also going to try, just as an experiment,  the Premiere mode where people can watch the video,  sort of resembling a live-stream where I can answer live questions and all that.   I don't know if it will work  but  I'll give some notification of this.   Probably won't work but...

Pretty cool finally seeing myself on the Patreon list. About dang time, too. I waited too long. Apologies, Jeff!

That's a pretty interesting round. I wonder what the theory is behind the supporting cylinder. (Side note: putting the patron list with dialogue, as you did here, may help average view time)

I guess we'll be shooting 1/2 inch bolts with the heads cut off, wrapped in a sabot after this one? LOL

I wonder if the large powder grains burned slowly to give the slug a more gentle shove.

Always interested in seeing these older designs, especially when they behave so well (once you worked out the kinks!) Thanks for working to get things right. Great video!

John Gross

Thanks again for another great video

Sweet new hat Danny

A lot of older, and some newer European powders are produced like what are in the original Czech loadings.
