Until recently, Partner Support would not give a reason why videos are being demonetized. When we asked them to re-review videos sometimes they would reinstate the ads, and sometimes they wouldn't. When they denied monetization, they'd just give us a link to their rules --- which we believe we follow. Very frustrating.
This time, regarding the Driving Airsoft BBs Faster than the Fastest Bullet video, they re-reviewed it and gave me a more specific reason.
"violating violence and tragedy policy related to firearms"
In the video, we mostly shot at a computer hard drive, which isn't violent. A gallon of ice, that's certainly isn't going to bother anyone. Then we shot at a plaster of Paris gummy bear. A HA! As crazy as it sounds, the only thing in the video that might be construed as "violent" was shooting at the bear! It isn't like we shot a live puppy, or an effigy of Trump, or Obama, a Bible or a Koran. Just a plaster of Paris gummy bear.
Who would have imagined this is what Youtube would become?
