Danny's Last Video - Sadness Warning

Danny requested to make a video explaining to our viewers his current state.   He put this off for a long time and finally let me know when he was ready to do this.   We filmed this last weekend and his condition worsened faster than I could get this edited and uploaded.   He passed away a few days after filming this.   He was in terrible pain and very weak and it was emotionally difficult for everyone to make this last video.   Danny felt it was very important to do this video.     I want to thank everyone who cared about Danny and left thousands upon thousands of beautiful  and kind comments supporting him.   I'm sure he would have loved to have been able to see them all.

As one currently undergoing treatment with Velcade, Revlimid, and Dexamethasone steroid for the same malady, I can certainly relate to Danny's wish to communicate his gratitude to his circle of friends for their support and offers to help in his moment of need. It is as we approach the end that the precious nature of life becomes more amplified in our minds, and the importance of reaching out to those who have helped to make our lives better becomes more urgent. Jeff, you are to be thanked by us all for making an obviously difficult video to share with those of us who came to appreciate Danny and his good humor and spirit; I'm sure it was hard to do, but eminently worthwhile and appreciated by us all. Fair winds and a calm sea, Danny. See you on the distant shore.

Thanks for that. Made me very sad, but needed to see it.

I'm positive he sees the comments, Jeff - and he knows that you've honored him with all a good friend could do under the circumstances. We should all be blessed to have such a good friend... Again, THANK YOU for this. You done good. - Ed on the Ridge
