2021-11-17 23:36:50 +0000 UTCRando thought to assist in identifying found slugs: before loading, in addition to putting a line on the back to assess whether or not it is spinning, put a number on the back. Match that with a number on the shotgun shell, so that when, e.g. #4 is found, you know what the circumstance was for that round - Brandon, or lead plate, or vest, or whatever. It's interesting that so much deformation had so little effect on practical (i.e. not target) accuracy; makes me want to experiment.
