QuakeMaker 2½ oz. Slugs - We test them out

I don't know what you'd need a 2.5 oz. slug for,   but  Seismic makes them and they are beasts.   Breanna and her sister Jamie shoot these for us until they can't take any more of the heavy recoil.

Are these what they used in the finding fossil scene from Jurassic Park? https://youtu.be/yVCkuJFnA4k

Remember a 10 ga shotgun is going to weight 10 lbs or more so that helps a lot with recoil. The 12gas. we are using are 6 to 7 lbs. If you can find a thick enough shotcup or use a spend hull as a sabot (etc) you should be able to shoot 12ga slugs out of the 10.

10 GAUGE guns are my hobby and usually shoot 2.25 and 2.5 oz loads. I am getting older and they affect me a bit more that when I was in my 30's and 40's. I am thinking of getting a 2 or 2.25 oz mold made from accurate molds. Would love a Lyman style slug and use the wad as a sabot, like the LYMAN in the 12 gauge. I just want the hollow base and I am hoping I can them them to make so I can use the Lyman 12 gauge bottom hollow base plug. I have no way to machine the plug. Great video and my compliments to the Ladies for shooting great.
