The most-advanced .45 ACP Bullet since 1904?

After posting the video about the 9mm Interceptor rounds,   I wanted to show something for the .45 ACP folks that I think is as impressive.    The Lehigh Controlled Fracturing bullet is almost like firing 1 bullet and getting 4  bullet-strikes with one shot.   Made solid copper on a Swiss-type lathe,  invented to make watch parts,  these bullets have nearly perfect balance and tolerances which make accuracy and fracturing very consistent shot after shot.   These bullets have been around for almost 5 years but I think because they don't have a catchy name,   have flown under the radar.

We obtained around 1200 fps which is very close to the velocity you will get using the Underwood loaded rounds.

The most-advanced .45 ACP Bullet since 1904?

Man, that is one decrepit tape measure . . . I'd actually prefer the type of Lehigh bullet that retains the petals, like the 9mm version; with a .45 ACP base, that would be like getting hit with a helicopter. I would imagine that the spiral wound would cause huge amounts of blood loss and rapid blood pressure drop. Pistol rounds are not particularly effective as "man-stoppers" compared to rifle and shotgun, of course, so any increase in transferred shock is welcome. Of course, any bullet that can knock over a cell tower a mile away is gonna do a mess o' damage, you betcha.

I really liked the cell tower falling .

Interesting bullet and nice it is offered in 45. I shoot and reload for both 9 and 45 so can’t wait til I get my hands on some. Also that isn’t an oak tree. Look more like a cottonwood
