What I heard was that the idea of a white Christmas in the UK was popularised by Charles Dickens. Who grew up at the end of what's called the "Little Ice Age" where it was a regular thing. It just hasn't been for the last 150 years....chalk up another one to tradition I guess

2022-12-08 09:27:04 +0000 UTCThis is the second month in a row where I got excited to the prospect of the Patreoncast coming out just after the month it was supposed to be in, therefore surely the 'sort of' would come back, and the second time I was disappointed! :( This menace must stop, we need the sort of back!
