Tale of a Tale: Demiurgos

What do you think when you see a black horned goat? Satan, evil, witch, darkness? Well... That's how most people have been culturally conditioned. This type of thinking is often harmful and unjust. It's similar about people with a different shade of hair, people of different sexes, or simply other animals.

By taking a black goat under care, was little girl thinking of being a "dark true witch"? Was she thinking "oh, there might be so great photos!"? Not at all. For a long time she wanted to create a home for a multi-species family. In addition, there was a practical issue: the self-sufficiency of the farm. Little girl personally likes goat's milk, and a goat gives much less milk than a cow, enough for little girl and her demon, and simply smaller animal needs less to live. Therefore, at some point, little girl began to look for a black goat male or female, necessarily horned - not hurt by cutting off the horns. Why black? To make it "darker"? No. Very simple aesthetic reasons played in mind. Later, the plans included finding a partner to the pair, so that the typical "farm plan" could actually come into force.

But... He appeared, a small black he-goat, who from the first meeting surprised with his character. Taken straight from the barn, he traveled several dozen kilometers in front of the passenger seat with one "meeeee" at the beginning, then lay down quietly. During the first meeting with the larger than him Wolfdogs, he showed without resistance that he did not want excessive closeness. Over time, he began to play with them, but mostly on his own terms. As Iligna was quite an eccentric, quite playful and big foal, at first the little girl was afraid to let him go with the horses, for his safety. However, after some time, he even got along with them. The Pack spent many hours together on walks in the woods, reading books together, long peaceful evenings by the fires, as well as lazy sleeping inside the cabin during cold days.

The idea of finding a female goat for practical farming reasons has gone into oblivion. Demiurgos brought something much different to the little girl's life. Much more important than "farm things" and happy goat member of the Family. The desire to create a safe and natural home for a multi-species Family where each member will be able to explore themselves deeper, communicate with others without unnecessary strength or fear, or have space to fight their own various fears or demons. Mr. Demiurgos confirmed the belief that every being can discover great intelligence if only be allowed let think, and people will not treat animals as a subordinate, an inferior being, just because they look different or speak a different language.

Unfortunately, as you may have read in another chapter of "Tale of a Tale", he died young, poisoned, after long, demanding treatments. His body rests near the bodies of the Dryad and the Rogaty. Next to the former bonfire place, where they used to gather together in silence, peace, happiness...
